The platform states, "Under Republican leadership, the United States will build a strong manufacturing industry in near-Earth orbit, send American astronauts back to the Moon, and further to Mars."

Additionally, it adds, "We will innovate the ability to access, live in, and develop assets in space by strengthening partnerships with the rapidly expanding commercial space sector."

Through this platform, the Republican Party expressed its commitment to creating new economic opportunities through the development of the space industry and commercial partnerships, and to reinforcing America's leadership in space.
