The prosecution has demanded a prison sentence for former professional baseball player Oh Jae-won (39), who was indicted on charges of drug use.
During the trial held at the Seoul Central District Court on the 19th, the prosecution requested a sentence of 5 years in prison and a fine of 24.74 million KRW for former professional baseball player Oh Jae-won, who was indicted on charges of drug use and intimidation.
Oh is accused of administering methamphetamine 11 times over a year since November 2022 and storing methamphetamine in an acquaintance's apartment.
He is also accused of illegally obtaining Stilnox, a sleeping aid, from acquaintances for 1 year and 3 months, and intimidating an acquaintance who tried to report his drug use.
Oh has admitted to all charges except for intimidation, and the sentencing hearing is scheduled for the 26th.
