Yoon Young-bin, Director of the Korea Aerospace Administration, Emphasizes the Need for ‘Government-Private Sector Cooperation’ to Achieve the 'Miracle of Aerospace'

Yoon Young-bin, the Director of the Korea Aerospace Administration, emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the government, the National Assembly, and the private sector for the advancement of South Korea's aerospace technology.

At the National Assembly’s Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee plenary meeting on the 26th, Director Yoon stated, "The Korea Aerospace Administration will focus on bold R&D investments and the establishment of an industrial environment to create the third miracle of Korea, namely the 'miracle of aerospace.'"

He also pointed out that "Although South Korea has entered the ranks of the world's top seven space technology powers, there remains a significant gap between us and the top six countries." He stressed the urgent need for the nation to pool its resources at the national level to overcome this gap.

Director Yoon pledged, "The Korea Aerospace Administration will make every effort to ensure that South Korea can rise to become one of the world's top five aerospace powers," and requested continued attention and support from the National Assembly.
